Teacher Kim
Kim is from the North of England and joined SCL in September 2011. In addition to her role as Key Stage 3 coordinator, she teaches English, History and PHSE and is Year 7 form tutor. Kim holds a BA in English and Cultural history with Media and Cultural Studies and a PGCE in Secondary English and Special Educational Needs. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Kim; we’re very pleased she has joined our team.

Teacher Jake
From Australia, Jake joined SCL in September 2010. He is form tutor to our Year 8 class and teaches Mathematics, ICT and PE. During his time here Jake has become a well loved member of the SCL family and truly has the respect of his students. He holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies Dual Degree with Middle Years Education.

Teacher Michael
Michael is from Liverpool in the UK and has been with SCL since September 2010. He is form tutor to our Year 9 class and teaches Science , Geography and PE. Michael is extremely passionate about environmental issues and over his time here has secured SCL’s involvement with a number of environmental projects. He really brings his subject to life for his students. He holds a BSc in Biology and Psychology and a PGCE in Applied Science both from Liverpool John Moore’s University. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Marine Biology and Tropical Habitat Conservation which he gained from the University of the South Pacific in Fiji whilst working as a volunteer marine research assistant and teacher on a remote Fijian Island.
